"Prioritizing Public Service Above Politics."
My goal is to create a safer Precinct 1.
Families in Dallas County should feel secure, regardless of their neighborhood, race, or income level. Everyone deserves the same level of service, protection, and respect from their Constable every single day.
A good leader is measured not by the fear they instill but by the stability, respect, and supportive work environment they foster. This approach leads to lower staff turnover and improved morale.
Strong leadership starts from within. I will support my deputies, reduce unnecessary stress, and equip them with the tools they need to serve you effectively.
The office of a Constable serves as a vital link between law enforcement and the community. Their presence must be consistent, not just during election season. As Constable, you will always have access to my office.
When a Constable respects their staff, trust grows, service improves, and our communities become safer.
My name is Angel Aguilar, and I am proud to have served as a deputy constable for the past nine years. Now, I am ready to make history as the first Hispanic constable in Precinct 1. My journey has been filled with challenges that have only strengthened my commitment to perseverance and resilience, and I am determined to inspire others with my story.
At the age of five, my family and I immigrated to this country in search of a better future, like countless others before us. Navigating a new language and growing up in the underserved neighborhoods of Dallas County imparted invaluable lessons about hard work and dedication.
I am deeply connected to our community and am committed to enhancing safety through effective community policing and outreach. I strive to give back to the community that has shaped my life, especially in the neighborhoods where I attended school and college. I see myself as your neighborhood constable (el vecino). My candidacy is driven not by personal ambition but by a genuine desire to provide our community with a safe environment and a brighter future for our youth. I am the BEST choice for Precinct 1!.
